Why do nude photos of men bother me?

I mean nude pictures of women don't...Sometimes I don't get the point, or don't find them attractive/well done, but they seldom bother me.
I can look at a man and say "that's an attractive man".....I don't think I'm homophobic.

Maybe it's the Man's Law: "Never look at another man's junk" that been so ingrained....

Is it just that a man's flaccid junk is never attractive? What do women/gay men think about it?

For the record, I am completely straight. I think that in general, woman are much sexier than men. I mean, men can be sexy, but no so much when they are nude. Woman are soft and curvy. Men are harsh, sometimes have that paunch and a flat butt. Not cool. Not attractive. To me, sexy, attractive, etc for a man would be a suit and tie, ripped up jeans and no shirt, maybe in a uniform, depends on the man though.

I think it's some ingrained thing. That's why you see so many statues sitting around that are now geldings or have fig leaves over them that were later attached.
I am straight, and no it does not bother me either way.

I am a completely straight, married woman and find tastefully done photos or art of either gender very appealing. I have a number of wonderful nudes hanging in my home. A man’s “flacid junk” can be very attractive, depending on whether the man has been circumcised or not and who is looking. The best nudes of males are often of the homo-erotic persuasion.

I think males having a problem with the male human form might have to do with conditioning for homophobia. Women who think the male form is “disgusting” have their own issues. Of course, nowadays, with most people being so terribly out of shape, it is difficult to find a beautiful body worthy of nude depiction. Those that are beautiful have often been surgically enhanced.

I love photos and art that emphasize the beauty of the well toned human form and not specifically the “sex” aspect. Leonardo da Vinci’s David and the Venus de Milo are such art pieces, that are both erotic and extraordinarily beautiful to me.

Erotica and plain unadulterated sex for the sake of titillation are different things.

I wouldn't call it homophobia. I would just call it a matter of personal taste. We are all biased when we view these images. It is just a matter of orientation and personal preference. Some women do not like these shots for whatever reason. I know of some gay men who find porn or other naked rendition offensive.
