Default If photographers sold cars

With the poor economy, many professional photographers might turn to making money other ways. Lets hope they don't start selling cars.
My first movie.

If photographers sold cars.

(Based on "If airlines sold paint" - which you should google if you get the chance)

I sold cars for a bit.

I love cars. I was good at it.

I don't see the correlation.

Hmmm, well an obvious correlation would be photographers gouging clients with overpriced prints (like the car guy in my movie gouging people with overpriced gas). Of course, you can buy your way out of their prints (gas cap key) by paying some extravagant over the top fee.

Then there is the "we retain all rights to the car (photo) even though you paid for it" thing.

The prohibition against "using in a performance" (i.e. you cant scan the image and put it on Facebook or use it in a family album/photobook) thing

Maybe my subtle comparisons were too subtle. Nothing against car dealers though. They are a necessary link between car makers and the public.

That's a hell of stretch man.

There's just no comparison between the two professions.

No one ever is embarrassed to say they take photos for a living
