Default Dead birds and fish

has anyone else been hearing about this?

in the last week or two theres been huge numbers of fish or birds, generally of the same species, suddenly falling out of the sky, or found floating and dead.

It happened here in NZ, tons of dead snapper were found, ?thousands? of blackbirds fell out of the sky in Arkansas....
but, from what i've found, theres many more cases worldwide.

heres a link pointing out where it's taken place, as well as a link to a news report from that country.
(I didn't put that list together, I stumbled upon it)

all I can say is ....what the heck is going on..

The new guy left the valve open down at the WMD plant. Of course, they're going to cover it up and say it was fireworks or freak hailstorms or something. You'd think the same government that offed Kennedy could come up with something better...

You may be right:

"It may be more than coincidence that the same day the birds were
falling, there was an environmental meeting regarding expansion of a
natural gas waste processing plant. The residents are angry regarding
the expansion, an issue deemed a health concern because of fumes
released from the plant. Birds are far more sensitive to certain
fumes and airborne toxins than are people. The plant is in the same
area where the birds fell out of the sky."

It's not all that uncommon actually; it's just being hyped as the "scare of the day" right now.

Large numbers of birds fall from the sky quite regularly. They aren't all that hardy to begin with and can die of something as simple as the stress from a sudden startle.

High altitude hail, lightning strikes and the like are common culprits.

All this talk about 2012 being the end of the world. Then if that is the case, I say the hell with recession and all that, and lets get out and enjoy life!!!
