Lightbulb Do you did try to use a self portrait to get a shade white balance without......

Do you did try to use a self portrait to get a shade white balance without any use a flash or umbrella or reflector to get a warm tones?

My own answer:

I did use a shade white balance without a flash and got a orange warm tones effect as it is a pretty neat to use it.

Please don't say this is bad effect to get a orange warm tones effect without a flash. I am saying myself that it is a neat effect to get orange warm tones.

It is call "Creative white balance".

P.s - If you don't like my topic and please move on to other topic as i am not here for drama or argue if it is your plan. I am here to suggest it.

How about posting one of those neat pictures...curious to see some of your actual work considering you start a lot of posts, but never any pictures??

I love the moderation team when I do a white balance adjustment and make them orange...like Oompa Loompas!

Yes, Photography, many folks will warm up an image either in camera or in post. Pretty common to nudge the skins tones up a bit or change the white balance to accentuate the effect of the late afternoon sun.

Warming can also be done via the RAW file completing disregarding the camera's selection.

I just leave my 50D set to AWB and do the adjustment in Lightroom. Much easier to see the results and change things to be just right.
