Are you trying to refer to something like a "childhood"? As in the raising and upbringing of a child? But with photography?

That's not really how it's said. At best you'd be looking at something like one's "photographic career" or "photographic progression". You don't "raise" a photographer the way one "raises" a child.

I think she means like a place where a gang lives... "the hood" The photography hood, kinda like DPS, where we all hang out. We only lack 40's & blasters.

This is very insightful of you to pick up on this. I had no idea what she meant and was just going to move on.

OsmosisStudios and Sime - It is almost like childhood or parenthood. It is still call Photography hood that you learn something like experiment, expression, explore, expert, or more others things to learn to find yourself an a Photography identity like i did say on the first post.

For example only from Photography hood: I did learn photography from a book and want to learn that word and meaning that you can do the research on the website and you can go back to that book you found a word then you learn something from the website and it is call photography identity from yourself to learn lots of photography experience to yourself that is call Photography hood.

Sime - True that have many of the names. Like i did say if you learn lots of photography then you will see yourself call "Photography identity" as a Photography Culture.
