Detroit in the spring

Gets my photo graphic taste buds salivating. Now to save for a week long trip to Detroit in the spring.

I hate it when people just abandon buildings to dereliction, happens far too much over here

I'd recently heard on NPR that the mayor or Detroit is considering shutting down whole sectors of the city. Could be a photographers dream shoot, but only if you went in armed with your own swat team...

1. A couple of cans of freeze +p will give you plenty of time to exit.
2. NEVER EVER explore alone even if you are armed.
3. Keep your head about you and recognize when a situation goes bad before it does.

These no mans lands in Detroit would be like being in a completely other hostile country. Like shooting in a combat zone. That still does not dissuade me from going there. Maybe I need my head examined?
