Default Website, Flickr and Blog? too much or what?

Hi All,

I want to see what's the best way to go out from a website-only ownership.

I was thinking of getting a Flickr account and start posting my pics there and then thought of a blog, something like weekly one.

Now doing both will be time consuming to do and manage, but if you were to choose, what will it be?

I need something that gets me more exposure about my hobby and the photos I take.

Thanks!

For my 52 week project I used wordpress, and flickr just to host the photos, it worked pretty well and was easy to manage, even without plugins.

I also use a blog, and just use Flickr to host the photos.

I've been gingerly playing with Wordpress and found the flickr plug in a useful tool.

However, I'm undecided whether I should use the wordpress service or get my own domain/hosting and install and run wordpress there.

Any one offer up pros and/or cons of either route?

So you say that blogging is better as exposure than flickr?
