lol, YAY for chocolate! Thought about a nifty fifty for Nikon in my gear wish list now, but not sure. My Christmas was pretty awesome. I got my D3100, an 8 GB memory card, camera backpack, UV filter and cleaning kit. Plus a couple of gift cards from family.

Not better than my wish list... I got a gift card but the wife claimed it and bought an iPad. I do love the iPad, despite wanting a new lens or a speedlite. The picture importing dongle is great. It natively recognizes Raw files, and will import pictures and resize them to around 1mb.sure, it may not be for serious photo work, but if you just want to go over family pictures, or show friends, or upload some vacation pics to Facebook while you are still on vacation, it's nice to have.
I treat Christmas like an accountant - it's all about the benjamins. I got more than I spent, which makes it a good christmas. I still have a zoom and a speedlite on my list before my sister's wedding in June... |
