I just bought a new PC strictly for the purposes of taking care of my photos. Software-wise I use CS3 with a Wacom.

I'm so used to working with CS3 I've stuck with it, although switching from image creation (Graphic Designer) to image processing was a bit of a change.

I use a PC, it's all I have ever used, does me fine, (with vista). And Photoshop Elements 5 is what I use for editing and digital scrapbooking, until i can save for Photoshop CS3.

I just switched to a Mac from a PC a few weeks ago, and I love it! I can't see myself ever going back to a PC now.

And I recently got Aperture 2 and am trying to get my head around that still.

It's all been a fun learning experience, that's for sure.

I have a PC at home because I just can't afford a Mac right now, although, a Mac is what I would prefer. I used to work on a Mac daily as a product designer and recently my company switched us all to PC, bad decision!

As far as programs, I have Photoshop CS2 and I love it..... Pretty simple!

I use a PC; a HP Pavilion dv1440 laptop with Windows XP. As for post-processing; Picasa 2, Microsoft Picture Manager (for resizing, cropping, etc.), and I just downloaded GIMP. I would REALLY like to have Photoshop Elements 6 (?), but i don't if my processer will handle it It seems to handle GIMP ok so it should be all right.

I love my Imac 400 I've had it for 7 years and it works great (touch wood!)

I use Photoshop Elements for my photo editing because I can afford it!
