Love the pics - really interesting images. Very thought-provoking. I really like the first one, hitler posing in front of the eiffel tower like any tourist. It struck me as funny for some reason, like Hitler would have done something like that. Maybe he did....

I can't believe the photo-nazis on THIS site arent whining about the copyrights on those old photos.

Really interesting idea, although the editing is a bit rough around the edges.

So this guy visited the locations in the originals, attempted to find the almost exact same spot the original was shot in, then masked in the 70 year old scans?

If so that's amazing, and personally think the 'rough' PSing actually adds to the contrast between the two elements of the composite. Great stuff.

Very cool. I don't think the PS-ing is all that rough. It looks intentional to me. Almost in a sort of "ghosts of the past" way.

As for ©, that could be an interesting discussion.
