Default Geminids Tonight

Just a reminder that the Geminids meteor shower peaks in intensity tonight, so grab those tripods and remote-release cables and get out there!

Yep! My shift ends at 1145 (Pacific time), so I'm running my checklist.

Camera.....check
Charged battery.....check, on the charger now.
Memory card.....check, learned the hard way to make sure I have on with me.
Remote release.....check
Tripod.....check
Dark location.....I work at Creech AFB, it's in the middle of the desert.....Big check on that one. Right next to Area 51, might catch a UFO while I'm at it.
Clear skies.....AARRGGHH! and I quote "Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 34F. Winds light and variable."
34 and windy.....
Warm clothes.....check,

Oh well, here's hoping I get lucky.
