These inane and nonsensical questions are getting a bit tiresome.

Possibly something like:
Have you ever thought to or taken a picture while sitting on the couch, and bouncing your flash off the wall behind the couch instead of using it directly to light your subject? I might be misinterpreting it,...but thats what I got.

I tried taking out every 5th word as in a code, but still can't break the enigma...
Oh well...
I presume it means hiding a flash unit behind a sofa, directing the light upwards in the ceiling to bounce flash, and the whole setup used as a backgound for the main subject.
Yep, that's a nice way of experimenting with lighting...

Question: Why don't you take all these "brilliant" ideas and put them to use so you can show us your results, eh? A photo is worth 1000 words anyway.....we can't understand you.

I really don't think bouncing a flash off the back of a couch is going to work well at all, unless you've got a white couch. Darker materials are going to absorb too much of the light.

The great thing about digital photography is, there's essentially zero cost to take a shot and try something. Take these ideas you have, try them out, and see what happens. I think I burned through 100 or so exposures on my new SLR just getting used to the menus, settings, how the camera focused, etc.
