Hi Roy i prefer to do all my reading online ,i spent a fair bit of time in the newsagents one day going through all the photography magazines and found they were full of adds and not alot of in depth articles. Most of the articles just skimmed the surface .the cheapest photo mag in the shop was $22au thanks but no thanks .

I went to Border's this evening and there had to be at least 10 to choose from just right there. I didnt see any that POPPED at me as being worth buying.

You're right - all of this info is readily available online - mostly.

I too read mostly online to mitigate the paper chase. However, I do get a few in paper that are favorites: Science, Saveur, National Geographic, Macworld, Travel and Leisure, Organic Gardening.

Impossible to choose just one.

I'm subscribed to outdoor photographer and nature photographer.

Outdoor photographer is okay. The topics they cover seem to repeat themselves over a year. And they're still obsessed over the fact that you can now view your images on the camera instead of having to wait for them to be developed. It seems every month there's at least one article that points this out.

Nature photographer is wonderful. Nice and thick, plenty of articles, very little ads, and beautiful photographs. The only "disadvantage" is that there are only three issues per year.
