Default Finished this semester

Okay, small victories people. I've just finished my last assignment for this semester. I'm lighter than the snowflakes outside my window right now.

This semester has been an absolute bear of a 4 months. I haven't had time to shoot. I haven't had time to think about shooting. I think I've taken 50 photos in 4 months. And half of those are film. Bugger.

I also havent had the time to hang out with some of my very best friends (who, sadly, moved across town) or my fairly new girlfriend, though we've tried our best. Unfortunately that doesn't look like its going to let up either, what with me working retail at Christmas.

Yes, I still have 2 exams to write (10th and 17th) but this is a major thing for me. Now if you'll excuse me... I have a flash that needs batteries.

Indeed!

The “stressful” days of being a student were easy in retrospect, compared to the work world, which will last ten fold and more of the time one puts in as a student.

Congrats and good luck with your exams. College is hard. I know that I struggled through with an almost full time job, a full load of classes and a kid (I was single at the time). Sometimes I don't even know how I did it. I don't think I would have the energy or motivation to do it again.

Kudos on finishing the semester, and good luck with the written exams. This too shall pass. Working retail is hard, I imagine, during this season, so take good care of yourself. Hopefully your girlfriend will understand.

Thanks all. Luckily I only have one more to finish this degree, and it should be fairly light (only 3 classes vs 5 for this past semester). This one just seemed to drag and stress me out more than usual, so im particularly glad to get it out of the way.

Bah, pansies!!

6 years of college, 2 - year long internships and a 3 year "licensure" period, for me.

Undergraduate seems like a breeze nowadays.

After that come 3-4 years of grad school, internship years and licensure if you wish to go into certain professions.

Oh, for the days of university leisure. lol

Enjoy it while you can.
