Look! it worked!
Now I think if I post
"Here is the link for you read thru the guidelines so you'll know, without a doubt, what should be included and what shouldn't" at least a dozen times a day and then I should make Super Moderator!

How can you mock the position of Senior Member on DPS?!?! I take the title very seriously and have scheduled a half hour each day solely to think about how I can perform my Senior Member duties in a way befitting the enormous responsibility. I've even had a t-shirt made so that everyone knows and will treat me with the utmost respect. My husband and cats are required to salute me each time I walk into a room. For some reason they've changed the salute, maybe because it's too tiresome to use the whole hand (I didn't know cats could isolate the middle finger on their paws!).

On a serious note, I think that most people tend to look at the amount of time taken to accumulate the posts along with their quality. At least I do. I also believe that most members who comment over a long period of time view the forum as a community and look at the senior member title as something that shows support of the community rather than insight into level of photography skill or technical knowledge.

Yay! I'm one post closer to the "Super Senior Member Extraordinaire" title!

They aren't being lazy (heaven forbid that they would show someone as important as you that much disrespect) They are simply saying "You're Number ONE! You're Number ONE!"

Why of course. The middle finger is the biggest, and shows your importance.

I think I might have an idea of what hes getting at here. There are some people that will post just about anything here. (I'm guilty of this as well.) This is a site for photography and to learn how to do it. This isnt Facebook or Twitter. Some posts/threads that are off the topic of photography are the norm in General CC. But there are some that post A LOT that have nothing to do with photography at all. When I first joined this site it was ALL about photography. Right now, its mostly about photography,...and TSA, and somehow got into religion. (?) I think what hes trying to do is get this whole thing back on track for what its really for,..Photography.

Am I right? Or so far off in left field?
