Default What is your passion, weddings, portraits or other?

Most of my work is landscape, nature photography and love to do some food photography as well.
To make a few dollars, I consider to learn more about portrait or wedding photography. (Well, we all did some portraits or a friend's wedding but that does not make you a professional.) There is a good quality school that gives courses in portraits and weddings (not an online courses, but weekly classes which seem to me very interesting!
There is nothing wrong with making a few extra dollars with good equipment and passion for photography. It would be just a nice on-the-side job besides my fulltime job. What would you recommend?
Is wedding photography already swamped by many (although if you are unique and outstanding there should be a market.....I would love to do it different is just my idea) or is portrait photography the way to go? Maybe it is a difficult or weird question or it is totally personal. In my case, I never did anything either in portraits or weddings but I would love to learn the skills.
(Like I started, I am passionate for food photography as well but this seems a totally different market and how to get into that?)
What is your passion and do you make some extra money with it?

I love to shoot surfing, wildlife, and landscape type shots.

Not much money in it, so I do portraits now. I still like to get out, and do some shooting for myself thou, and I love doing trade shoots with models from MM. Those are probably the best time I have shooting.

I did a few weddings, and they turned out well enough that others have asked me to shoot theirs, but I just wasn't into it, so I turn them all away.

I am an amateur digital camera owner (I dont dare to call myself a photographer, yet). I love photographing people, but my deepest passion is in Toys photography. I love toys and somehow lately i have found that they have life. Thats why it makes me sad to see abandoned toys

Since my "day job" is teaching science, you can guess that I love to shoot wildlife and landscapes. I have a definite interest in developing my skills in the macro area, but time has not allowed me to dig into that as much as I'd like as of yet. I make a few dollars from selling my images as prints, greeting cards and calendars.

I love portraits, people and events. Basically it's a way to fulfil photography and social life requirements at the same time haha.

My passion is street photography, as pointed out lately I am not very good at it, just like my love making skills, but I am not going to give up either any time soon.

Default hard to isolate anything

When I started shooting more seriously a couple of years ago I had no preference....but over time, although I still love to shoot almost anything, I find I really love doing portraits. I love macro photography too, although I am lacking a macro lens. No interest in bugs, etc, but I love flowers and nature. For me, it wouldn't be fun to limit myself shooting one or two things. I wouldn't even consider a wedding as for me it's too much pressure to get it "right" the first time.
