Default What are you thankful for?

Were all thankful for the normal everyday things,...like our family, our health, our jobs, etc, etc, but what about other random things? So, heres a lil Thanksgiving Game, sort of, that I thought up.

Name ONE thing that your thankful for in each category. One thing, cuz otherwise this could get VERY long VERY fast.

1. Food
2. Beverage
3. Material Possession
4. Something about your job/school. If your unemployed something about the last job you had, or if your a stay at home Mom or Dad something about that. Favorite subject or teacher.
5. Something about your vehicle. If you dont have a vehicle, then something about your favorite mode of transportation.

Mine?
1. Pocky!
2. Egg Nog
3. I'm gonna say, my laptop.
4. Health Insurance,...but I like helping people too. ( Yes, I know I just broke my own rule. How bout limit it to either one thing, or one line.)
5. It's a V6 and It'll still move for how old it is, VROOM! VROOM!

So, what's your favorite things that your thankful for in each category?

1. Food. All of it. Why be picky. I'm just happy I can eat food. Did I mention "All of it"?
2. Hmmm, tough one. Beer I think. Since I live in an area renown for beer, I'd have to say that.
3. Cheesily, I'll have to say my camera. I am not sure I'd even notice 99% of my other stuff going missing.
4. The fact that I'm making a quantifiable (positive) change in the world.
5. That it has X6 written on it.

1. I am thankful for some yummy steamed shrimp that hubby got me this afternoon because I have been busting my rear end prepping food for tomorrow and I hadn't really eaten anything.
2. I am always thankful for Diet Dr Pepper.
3. Material Possesion? Hmmm, that is tricky. Lots of stuff that I own that I love, but one thing that I am thankful for? I guess my big girl camera.
4. My job? I cannot tell you how thankful I am to be a SAHM. We made a lot of sacrifices to keep our kids out of daycare. It was hard at times, but worth it.
5. My vehicle? I am thankful for the Sirius radio that is built in so that I don't have to have stupid wires all over the car to listen to my beloved Octane.

This should be fun! Let's see. Hmm?

1. Food = Steak, rare.
2. Beverage = Sweet tea
3. Material Possession = Books
4. Something about your job. = I get to play with color all day.
5. Something about your vehicle. = 4 wheel drive, and a supercharger. I am not thankful for the gas mileage though.

1. Egg, lettuce and sweet chili sandwich.
2. CHOCOLATE MILK.
3. iPhone 4
4. Security.
5. It's a wagon, but it looks cool.

Well it's not Thanksgiving in my part of the world, but I can still be thankful I guess.

1. Potatoes - couldn't live without them!
2. Wine - love a sociable drop.
3. Laptop - couldn't chat with all you lovely folks without it.
4. Part time hours - gets me out of the house, but allows me to be home for the kids.
5. It's cute - little girly 4x4.

For the uneducated - what's pocky?

Of course! Just because its mostly an American holiday ( cuz I'm clueless as to what countries would even have something similar) doesnt mean you cant be thankful for things. (I meant to put something about that in the OP but got sidetracked and forgot)

To answer your question,..Pocky is a Japanese snack made by Glico. It's thin bread sticks dipped in different yummy-ness. My favorite is the Strawberry, while Hubby likes the Chocolate. Heres a more in depth look at it,....
Pocky - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

If you search pocky in Google,... You'll get god knows how many hits. Its very popular in the Asian countries. Hubby is BIG into Japanese culture and spent a year in Japan while in the Marines. He's the one to blame for getting me hooked on it. lol

3. Material possession- Laptop and internet FTW
4. Something about your job- N/A
5. Something about your vehicle- Do bus passes count?
