Default Six grand

Well..another milestone....just hit the six grand mark of posts filled with knowledge, helpful hints, smart ass remarks and useless bits of information (UBI's).

First you're double posting, now mis-reading your post count. Poor Jim. Maybe a vacation is in order. Or a nap at least.

Well, I normally round up, but this is ridiculous. Maybe I'll do that for that upcoming $7500.00 two-day shoot for DePont. First I shot apple orchards, then weeds, what's gonna be the next subject?

"hmm....let's see, using your rounding up math methods that $7500 dollar job really equates to $10,000." And for tax purposes you'll have $12,000 in expenses to do the job for a net loss of $2,000! Fuzzy math LIVES!!

yes it does. I charge a $1.00 per mile, $1.00 per image captured, $75.00 a hour for pping and
$50.00 for buring DVD's. I know folks really don't know about image capture fees, but way back when, we used to mark up a roll of film 50% as well as processing, proofing and printing
costs. I know you're not using film these days, but you need to account of the monetary amount it takes to repair the digital cameras. Replacing a shutter in one of my cameras goes from $320.00 to $595.00 depending on where I send it.
