Default ipod, ipad, iphone....

can't keep up with it all! We got our son an ipod touch for Christmas. I keep calling it an iphone but keep getting corrected

I remember when I was a kid we had one telly in the house and that was a huge black and white monstrosity with only 3 channels No blueray, No remote, no dvd player, no video.

I was thinking about our kids and my son has

a pc
wii
dsi
netbook
xbox 360
and that's not including all the games and accessories

Blimey! Kids today don't know how lucky they are!

We also had to walk to school, up-hill both ways, in the snow, with no shoes.
We had a cow at school instead of a water fountain and drank straight from that.

AAahhhh...... the good ol' days .

Can't say as that floats mine, or my daughters, boat tbh. We've got a PS3, Wii and a DS but tbh they're just glorified DVD players lol

We're too outdoorsy so all her presents revolve round that theme - bikes, roller skates, camera (yes she has her own and is scarily good with it too!) and also her other hobby of arts and crafts so she's got loads of colouring and drawing materials (seriously my home is over run...i could open an arts store!)

So yeah i cant keep up with the electronics either. But mainly because it all goes right over my head lol

My kid's going to have a rock, a stick, and a piece of string. And his happy little ass is going to be outside all the time. Too many fat little twerps running around nowadays.

Oh, and a camera.

BigFuzzy you make me laff! I also get the Bad Mother Award for shock horror allowing my kids to play outside unattended and build dens.

I've avoided all of those. I've got a MacBook though, and I still use my cd player a lot and play my Nintendo 64 occasionally. I tend to pick up on technology when it's outdated by a few years.
