This has been posted before, they are taken at a sanctuary for film animals or something like that, he was in more danger of his battery draining faster because of the cold than the animals.

Not sure if that is exactly where he went but it is certainly the idea.

The shots are nice and I imagine I would go if I had the chance but the article annoys me in that it acts like he is trekking through the mountains to find these things and could die any second, its just fraudulent to me.

I was busy searching google for anything that would support a lion in the American Rockies other than mountain lions.

ha ha ha.. this is different than ANY article in any newspaper how?

One news agency's story about a slave driving bastard boss is another's story about lazy arse employees sending an owner to the wall. Which ever "version" of the story gets the most ratings is the one that is played on air.
