Default What's a good size for low res images?

I need to submit some images for a job interview via email, and they want them to be low res. I tend to deal mostly with full size images on a 1920x1200 monitor, so it is tough for me to get an idea of what constitutes a good size for a low res image. I am thinking of doing 1080 on the longest side, but not sure if I need to make them even smaller. Any suggestions?

500 or 600 on the longest side.

I usually got for 900x600 for medium res (most of my clients are running lower-res on their monitors). 600 on the long side gives 400 on the short for a 2:3 ratio photo, so that seems about right.

Thanks for the advice. I went with 600 on the longest side.

The job is at the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops, so I really hope I get the gig.

As a guide, Facebook resizes photos to 720px on the long side.

Good luck with the gig
