Default YAY! More towards the Big Camera Fund!

So,.. as most of you know I'm scrimping and saving to get the D3100 that I want. So today, I returned some stuff that I had bought for Halloween and never wore. As well as sold my PSP game system, some games for it, and all the accessories that I had for it. I was in a really good mood because of this. Got my cell phone back on,..( the bill got behind because of draining our accnt for my car repairs ) Fixing my car to go to work was a bit more important than our phones. So, thats another $100 towards what I've tagged The Big Camera Fund. And I have more in MY account than I thought I did. YAY!! I knew things would get better, I just had a moment of "OMG! Enough! Please, Fates, dont give me anything else to deal with at the moment." But it's all good now. Hoping to check some pawn shops tomorrow.

OH! And since Wal-Mart wouldnt cash the hand-written check from the gaming store, I tried one of those check cashing/loan places. (Our bank is all the way back in TN, and we dont want to switch because people have had too many problems with the banks here.) They cashed it for me, and as I was waiting on the girl to process my info and all that, I asked her about the Now Hiring sign in the window. The hours would be perfect, and the pay about the same as Lowe's. So, I'm hoping for it. I really want a change in pace, and to get out of that type of retail.

Anywayz,... just had to share.

Hope you all the best on your quest. Things are all ways a little bit more dear to you when you have to work for them. In a day when so many people just run out and grab a DSLR and are instant professional photographers, some one just showing the effort to working hard just to afford the camera makes me think that you will put the same effort in perfecting your photography. From the looks of your Flickr, I think you'll do fine.
Good luck,
Mark

Just stay focused and you will get there. I was broke as a joke and managed to be shooting from two cameras now. LOL I only wanted one camera really, now I have more gear than I care to carry. Now all I have to do is obsess about getting paid and published and I will be well on my way.
