Default Christmas?

It's next month. GASP!

Are you planning to give any photo related gifts to family/friends for the holidays?

Do you have any gear on your holiday wish list?

I have been working for 6 months on a photobook that covers highlights of stuff with the kids over the past few years. I am almost ready to send it off for printing. That will go to all of the grandparents for Christmas. I am going to try to get a nice portrait of all of the kids as well to give to the fam as well as use in our christmas card.

On my wish list, I have 3 things, the 24-70 L lens. Yeah, right. I can dream. I am 99% sure that this is THE lens that I want.
I also want one of the cute camera bags and neck straps.

What about you?

For a toy, the new 28-300 lens from Nikon would be nice.

What I need is to get a second D3S and move my D3 to the third, spare position.

Dream? D3X for the studio.

We're doing portraits and frames for most of the family this year.

I've had most of presents already this year (ie Canon 550D, spyder3 elite (that arrived yesterday!), wacom bamboo and £500 towards the Canon 24-70) so I cannot ask for anything else

However, I would like those cool Bokeh shape thingies that fit on the front of the lens bokehmasterskit.com

I'll probably do calendars like last year.

This year has passed with with such a speed. I had all sorts of plans and goals, some I have achieved others are in progress while some are on the back burner. It has been a fun year though so far. My plans for calenders might just make it on 99, that is in the last minute.

I have all the camera gear I need and most of what I want (it gets very expensive after a certain point).

Last year I did a motor racing calendar (from the years events) and it was very well received by my, non photographer, motor sport friends and the drivers. I will do the same again.

I didn't even know about those. They are really neat. However, I made my own with craft punches and black cardstock. I have about 50 different shapes ready to go but I have never even tried that technique.

Either a Canon 450D or a Pentax K-x, haven't made my mind up yet.
My first DSLR I can't wait!
