Default Going to shoot a mouse - Mickey that is.

Mickey Mouse will find himself in front of my camera at some point in the next week.

I'm winding down the last of my orders, getting the house ready for the house / dog sitter, and packing for the trip to Disney.

One thing I'd like to do is go back to my photos from when I was a kid and when Tammy and I were there 18 years ago and "re-create" some of the photos. A sort of "then & now" if you will.

I've had a blast at Disney......been to Orlando, Japan and Anaheim. Would love to go to the one in France, but now that the kids are grown, I'd much rather go to Paris, sit around drink wine, eat baguettes with cheese and of course, take pictures around Europe.

We went to Euro Disney when were in Germany on our last tour.

Their version of Space Mountain was cool. We haven't made it to Japan, though Tammy was born there.

I grew up in the Tokyo area from 67-72. My oldest was born there in 87. A few years ago I returned for a business trip and had a blast.

I am going on a trip to disney at the end of the month. I have always had a camera with me but this will be my first trip with a DSLR. Really struggling with what to carry and when. I am thinking that my Canon SX20 might be best for most days. This is what I bought or for (and I couldn't afford a DSLR at the time) but I am going to carry the sony in the animal kingdom for sure.

Thoughts from those with experience.

LOL.. I guess light is relative. I only have 3 lenses so i guess I am always 'light'. I consider my Canon P&S superzoom light. Goes from 28-514mm equivelent and I always have the 'right' lens on it.
