I think this is hilarious, but in the opposite way they intended, which makes it even funnier! The guy totally doesn't know what he's doing!

They first started showing the ad about 2 months ago and everytime it comes on I'm pmsl.

A very clever marketing campaign

I actually find it amusing

Why feel threatened? They don't match the quality of a DLSR used by a great photographer.

I found this funny really. It does exemplify the "my camera takes good pictures" mentality. This commercial just made all of the users of this camera look like incompetent morons.

I think it`s funny, cause I get a slightly different message out of it. I honestly wonder why so many people want to know what the shutter speed / aperture combination for a photograph is, as if somehow if they were to use those settings at some place, they could take the same image. For me, I think, big and fast are great answers =D

Even though it's a terrible commercial, its funny

"how did you compensate for the diminished light?" "very well thank you"

But still, i hate that attitude in anything, not just photography

I didn't say that I felt threatened. It is an amusing commerical, but my jaw dropped when I saw it for the first time.
