I guess the question should be more like, "How often do you do photography related stuff?"
This is a real question as I was in a shooting funk for almost 2 weeks while I did other photography PP stuff.

At the moment (and for the last 300-odd days), daily. I can't tell if I'm looking forward to the end of my 365 project or not actually. It's been kind of interesting. I just wish that I'd done it in a less busy year, but that's probably too much to ever really ask for. So ummm, long story short, daily.
![]() The year before, it was much closer to monthly or longer in some cases when I was going through a really bad photo-funk.

Taking actual photos, it varies for me. Some weeks I barely have the camera in hand, some weeks it seems like it's surgically attached to me. But every single day I'm doing something photography-related, be it editing, client relations, marketing, research, SEO, visiting photography forums (ahem!!! lol), etc.

I have waves where I am very active - and then where I am not very active. I have alot of processing work to do, and putting it off, because there`s much to do - and I have some other things on my plate. - when I get done with those, it`ll be back to photography.
In a way - I shoot every day, for a week or two - then don`t shoot for a month, then shoot weekly, then biweekly - it really is kindof, random. As for thinking about photography, reading, learning, processing, looking at images, writing ideas for projects (and starting them sometimes ) I`ts definitely much closer to daily.Sometimes, I`ll put in a month of research for a 4 day shoot --- It really depends - and the best I can do is answer "less than once a week" on this poll. |

It is not daily but pretty close to it...probably 5-6 days a week

Daily for me too, for the same reason. Although usually I take pictures during the week and do any PP on the weekend. I take my DSLR with me everywhere. I made the mistake of not taking it a few times, and wound up missing some stuff. Of course, I always have my iphone, and its camera works inside malls, stores, etc., where they generally frown on you taking pictures (I think they figure you're casing the joint), or where more stealth is required (such as taking pictures for peopleofwalmart.com). I think I'll be relieved when this 365 is over - just because its so hard to do something every day. Next year I think I'll do a project 52 - and just pick one good picture from every week. Right now I have everything from my best stuff down to semi-blurry cell phone pictures of stupid products in stores ('Booty Pop' panties? Really? Underwear to make your butt fat? That's what McDonald's is for....) But I think that's what made my project 365 successful. You cant set up a really well lit, perfect artsy picture EVERY DAY for a year. At least, I cant. I wouldn't have lasted a month. |

Once a week, at least, for about the last 10 years. Sometimes shoot a few nights through the week and more often if I'm on leave from work.
I'm way behind on processing and I suspect some folders of RAWs on my PC will never get looked at again unless I go looking for a particular shot. As I like shooting springtails and most of then can't be identified by eye I use my macro lens as a magnifying glass and often only process shots that might be of interest to others. Similarly, the other night I has mucking about with 2nd curtain sync flash and long exposures while the bairn was playing with sparklers. Haven't downloaded the shots yet but no matter as we both had fun shooting them then flicking through the shots on the review screen afterwards. That's the beauty of huge memory cards.....you can just keep shooting

My cameras too big to fit in my pocket so I can't do it every day, but I try to do it a couple days a week. Sometimes when I'm just sitting in my room I'll take my camera out and start fiddling with it and I also tend to walk by things and ask myself how I would compose this image.

Seeings what I do for a living, I photograph something every single day. Might be something for the newspaper (more often than not my reporters do that) or a portrait or something for an art piece
