Ever you did a thought to use a reflector as a background of high key (White) or low lighting (Black) back of the person as a cheap way without using Pro Photography Lighting?
This question will be awesome for some people who might never thought about this. |

That's actually a good idea, though i'd be tempted to use a giant scrim instead. Reflectors tend to be a bit small for backgrounds, though. THey would give an interesting lighting effect from behind if the sun is directly ahead of the model.

I have done it, but the problem with the black for low key is the wrinkles in the material show up, because you can't get it far enough away with it being a small reflector. For high key, what works really well is just another softbox behind the subject as a backdrop. My avatar is shot with 2 softboxes and a reflector. 1 as backdrop, 1 as main and a reflector for fill.
