Default New Toy - D3100

I wanted a small camera for our Disney trip, so I did some horse trading and ended up with a D3100. I sold the 18-55 it came with as I don't need that particular lens.

Wow, this thing is tiny. It really does feel a bit like a toy compared to the D3 and D3S. I've done a few quick tests and it will be fine for our Disney trip. Now I won't have to worry about something happening to my work cameras, and I'll have a lot less weight to lug around.

Depending on whether or not I fall in love with it, I'll probably sell it off when I get back. I think I did well enough on my deal to make it a wash, or at least a really cheap rental!

Yeah, I probably won't mess with it too much. I've got video on the D3S and don't use it there either.

The D3100 does have a constant AF in video, though, would can be quite good. Kinda replaces a video camera in some cases.
