This whole forum is full of tips. Do you have anything in particular you'd like to know?

Don't clean your camera in the dishwasher.

The first rule of photography is you do not talk about photography.

Aside from that I would say experiment and shoot as much as possible. By doing this you will not only learn on your own and increase your skill, but you will run into things that you don't know or things you want to know how to do. Once you start getting specific questions, those will lead to other questions and you will learn by one question at a time.

The most important tip I can give you is don't be afraid to try something new, if you fail at it find out why and try it again and again until you got it. Make sure while doing this that you remember that it all comes with time and practice and never let photography become a chore, but a passion of life that you can enjoy.

While we are on this kind of subject, something I am guilty of. Be sure to check your ISO before shooting. I have had times I picked up my camera and assumed I was on the lowest iso only to end up with noisier photos than I wanted because I didn't check my ISO.

Also remember to check that you are shooting in the format you wish. If you shoot RAW make sure you aren't on jpeg or when you get home you can be pretty upset.
