Best way is to create an account on a photo sharing site like Flickr or Ipernity or Photobucket. I use Ipernity cause it has a blog built-in.
You upload the original file and the site will create several different sizes for you, you just post a photo that is the correct size, there are instructions on how do it that in the forums. |

All photo programs have an “export for web” function, MC. If you tell us what software you use, we can give you instructions as to how to export decent quality/low res pix.
You should not place high res photos on any website—unless you do not care about them being ripped off. |

@photologyst- Thanks for that info. I am using gimp for photo editing. It is an open source program similar to photoshop.

In fact I just remembered, the TOS on most of the photo sharing web sites require that you link the photo back to the page. Either the photo itself or with a link below the photo, most users don't bother though, never heard of anyone being busted that's for sure.
