So yesterday I saw on TV a documentary on Shelby Lee Adams and posted here how blown away I was with his work. So today I get an email Shelby Lee Adams will be in town in a couple weeks giving a lecture and 2 day workshop! Is that coincidence or what?!!

The workshop is November 13-14 and the lecture is on the 12th. But here's the kicker. I can't go because I have to go to a stupid dinner the 13th and the 14th is the gallery reception for the show and silent auction that my one photo is in and I have to go to that. I can scream. All I want to do is go to this workshop dammit

There's no way out of the dinner and the reception thing the next night. Adams will be giving a lecture the day before the 2 day workshop but lectures are boring. I'm a hands on kind of guy.
