...or is the "How I Took It" section slowly being turning into another SYS?

Maybe it's new folks just looking for a place to put their first posts on DPS and they haven't taken the time/bothered to read the stickied "The 'Rules' for this 'How I Took It' Forum". Maybe folks are tired of no comments on their photos in the correct SYS section. I don't know.

I generally take time during the week at some point to check out most of the site but on a daily basis my favorite sections are "How I Took It", "Before and After" and "General Chit Chat". Lately, I find myself skipping over "How I Took It" as half the time it's simply a post of a photo with maybe some EXIF data thrown in. I always use to think of it as a mini-tutorial section for something interesting that some of us hadn't thought of or maybe seen before.

Anyway, it may just be me so I thought I'd ask.

i completely agree with that. There are so many posts I come across and I would like to know what they did to achive that look but all I find is a Picture with the date and thats is not helpful at all. How I Took It, is supposed to help us learn. If you want to show off your work there is the entire SYS section.
