I would like to ask if anyone has any experience with photomicroscopy. I am looking into a project for my masters and one option is to take high resolution photographs for analysis. The aim is to maximise the resolution possible. I understand that I will need to investigate supply of connections between camera, lens and microscope.
Equipment: SLR camera, Canon EOS 50D Macro lens, Sigma Inverted microscope Ideas and quesitons so far: Can I take high resolution photographs by connecting the camera to the port on the microscope? Can I connect the macro lens to the camera then to the microscope to increase the resolution? Will a higher megapixel camera give higher resolution? Is there any reference material I can read re the above questions? I would greatly appreciate your replies Liza |
