Default Needs a strong critic

I am a bit bullheaded. So when it comes to my pictures I like to know what is wrong and what I can do to improve them. And I don't like the placating encouragement. If it is something that will improve my photography then I want to know what it is. So my question is would anyone be willing to look at some of my portraits and give me straight forward no nonsense critique so I can improve? I can put together a few to show so just let me know. Thanks for your time in advance.

Something I've learned from this site, is that you'll almost always get exactly what people think. lol, just look at the thread for Product Photography in this same category. I've wondered the same thing about some comments or responses to my picture posts. ( Are they telling me what they really think, or what I want to hear? ) So, I understand where your coming from. I always ask people when they ask for my opinion are they sure they want it, because I dont hold back on what I truly think. I'm no pro, but I will offer my honest opinion.

If you post something, I'm sure you'll get the type of responses your looking for.

Read the critique forum rules and post there. Just mention that you'd like honest CC.

I promise you that you will get honest opinions if you post in the critique area. That is exactly what I get when I post.

The critique my shot section is a great place for you to get this. Yes, you will get a lot of "Nice photo", but if you are specific in what you are wanting to know in your post that accompanies your image, you will get more helpful criticism. Also, asking for honest or strong ctitique gives posters permission to be more "blunt".

I'll give you some real honest, constructive private feedback if your ego is up to it. Just send me a private message.

Okay I will. I took a look at your site and see the detail you use to present your photos. Would you like that detail about the pic when I send it? I don't have the lights but can tell you what my rational was in taking the pics I did. Thanks for the input and time.

The EXIF data for the image would be helpful as well as any special lighting you did.

Let me see them, I'll give a honest critique, but I hope you have thick skin, as I speak my mind.
