Default Firefox V Google Chrome and IE

I just noticed that when I look at one particular photo I oste to my Flickr page that the reds are now browns when the photo is viewed in Google Chrome and IE8, however when you view it in Firefox the colors are dead on.

Has anyone else noticed this?

You can see it with the attached screen captures

What software are you using to process? Make sure it is set to to output sRGB. Sometimes you will have shift like that if it is just outputting RGB standard.

Doesnt matter: each browser shows it differently. So does Safari. It's not something you can hope to fix: it's innate in the browser. Using sRGB will mitigate it, but its not going to solve the problem entirely.

Color profile thing. IE9 showed it like FF.

Did same test for one of my images and all the browsers showed similar colors. Didn't do much pixel peeping but to me the colors were identical. "Save for web..." and sRGB are your friends.

But to top it all off all the monitors show them colors differently too so yea... Urgh.
