In Memoriam

--------

My dad, Gaëtan Bourque (aka Imapix) past away suddenly on saturday October 9th 2010 after an illness that started a few months ago. There will be a funeral service on saturday October 16th 2010 at 12pm at the F. Thériault funeral home, 770 Notre-Dame, Berthierville, QC, Canada.

Until the very last day of his life, Gaëtan shared his wonderful photographs with the world on Flickr. Thanks to everyone for the 7.3 million views over the years... I know he was very proud of that.

The man might be gone, but his beautiful images will stay with us forever.

See ya around Pa.

-- Xavier

Oh, gees! I was afraid that was what "gone" meant.

However, he leaves a fantastic legacy for generations to enjoy.

Thanks for posting this. I am new to Flickr and didn't know of his work.

May his soul rest in peace. He had really good stuff there. Sad to hear about another legend crossing to the other side.
