Default Which eye do you focus with?

Well having watched one or two of Joe Mcnallys vids on you tube i asked myself ... well which do i use? Stupid question to ask but i have found that different conditions mean i lean towards one or the other which is something i am trying to get out of.

So i tend to do most of my shooting from the left eye ... no stronger or any other reason than it feels more comfortable, if for some reason i am trying to shoot quickly ie if its a spare of the moment thing and not planed i use my right.

Just got me thinking to how many use what eye.

ps i am right handed / foot.

I use to use the right when I was using a film camera (sans motor drive). It gave my right hand more room to advance the film. Don't know why, but now I use the left. It's just more comfortable for me. Also, both now and back then, I take vertical shots with my right hand on top.
I think they make cameras upside down anyway. The most comfortable way to view through them, is to turn them over, with the back of the camera against your forehead, rather than smashing your nose into it. Except of course, the controls are now on the bottom. Try it sometime.

My right eye is significantly better than my left eye, so I use the right for everything of this sort. Trying to focus (or even just compose!) with my left eye leads to all kinds of problems.

I use my left eye exclusively. I am right handed for the most part (ambidextrous really) and left eye dominant. Seriously I don't know that I could switch to right eye if I had to.

I'm a lefty... but I shoot with my right eye dominant (guns and cameras). I also turn the camera with right hand on top (90% of the time) when shooting vertical.

Interesting question. You would have gotten a good laugh outta watching me go through the motions, here at my desk, empty-handed with one eye closed, etc. Hahahahaha!

Left eye, exclusively; mostly, because I'm legally blind in my right eye

Right for most stuff, especially for manual focus on film cameras. Left for telephoto (My telephoto-lens posture is different)
