Does anyone know of any free websites hosts (not blogs) to create my own photography site?

I dunno about others. I pay because often those "free" sites are very restrictive. I feel more comfortable having a business site on business servers and not with some kid who has them in his parents basement.
I would be happy to be wrong and find a dependable, free hosting site that won't disappear into the ethers. |

Weebly - Create a free website and a free blog - it is free, you can even use your own domain...

Don't use free. You really do get what you pay for. Free hosting is very slow and very unreliable. I've tried it and it just wasn't worth the hassle.
Right now, I use FatCow which is currently $44/year and wind powered. You get unlimited storage and bandwidth, there are restrictions on how you use that storage. You can't upload all your media there as a backup for your home machine. Any media you upload (it can be a ton) needs to at least be accessible from your site. FatCow isn't the best, but I've found it to be relatively reliable and quick enough for the price. If you were looking for free, FatCow will be more than enough for you. If you want more reliability and speed, they wouldn't be it, but it doesn't seem like that's your concern.

I use USA hosting........$21.95 a month. I know it might sound expensive for some, but it has web templets, and easy to use. Or Photoshelter, which is $49.95 a month.

I do know that Fatcow.com (yes that is a real domain hoster) offers a deal for $44 for the year for as many domains as you like. I for one am moving my business domain and starting a photography domain there.
Before hosting with anyone even if they are super cheap (you get what you pay for) Check to make sure they are not on the blacklist. If they are your email will go to nowhere when responding to them. Hint Godaddy = very bad. Check on MX toolbox to see if they are on a blacklist MX Lookup Tool - Check your DNS MX Records online - MxToolbox
