Default People in the UK or familiar with it... quick question

Somewhat random, but I'm an American with little knowledge of this, and trying to sort something out. The magazine Grazia UK - what is it like? What's it comparable to in the US? Is it a tabloid, barely above, or way above? Basically I'm just trying to understand its reputation. I am not familiar with the UK market at all... any insights are appreciated.

All I know is that it's a women's magazine of the fashion persuasion. I wouldn't lump it in with the tabloids at any rate (it's not a newspaper for starters).

Why do you ask?

I've got a client/friend who was approached about appearing in it and no one in our area knows much about it. So it's not like Us Weekly, is that right? Is it more like Cosmopolitian? Or even higher, like Elle or Vogue?

More like Cosmo I think and really a high fashion mag.

Have you checked out their website?

Grazia Daily: Grazia Daily Home

It doesn't seem to me like a celeb stalker rag at any rate.

Yeah, I looked around but I really couldn't discern because isn't it a weekly? In the US I'm not aware of any high-end weeklies ... which is what threw me off. But again my unfamiliarity is what sparked me to ask in the first place

Plus we want to see what other Brits think of it - the better idea we have, the more confident we are in our choices, and that sort of thing, you know?

Yeah it's a weekly, the website is updated daily...hence why it says daily.

There's also an Aussie version and the original format is Italian, so you may want to update the thread title to draw in a wider selection of people.

Thanks TDR - ultimately we are only looking at the UK version, otherwise I would expand! Thank you for the insight though. If anyone else has any, please do chime in

It's a low brow glossy magazine aimed at women trying to be Cosmo.
