Default Unique ideas for freeze motion photo.

Anyone have any really unique ideas for a frozen motion shot?

I don't want to do generic water drops, or cars, or a person running.. can't think of anything.

Thanks!

I've seen some amazing shots of a glass bottle filled with coloured liquid being smashed with a hammer.

Strictly speaking t has to be DIET cola. Regular doesn't have the right chemical compound.

The good ol' Mentos and Diet coke trick. Just make sure you shield the camera. And do it outside. Unless you particularly LIKE cleaning up sticky liquid from everything.

Fill a balloon with flour and shoot it with a bb gun while high speed syncing your camera with a flash?

You are better off with a longer exposure and low power flash burst in a near black environment. This ensures the subject is completely frozen in its motion. High speed sync will cause blurring of the subject because of the multiple flashes involved.

Multi color flying paint. Take several colors of paint and capture them in motion before they mix while they are suspended in the air. You either need to shoot 10fps or be outright lucky, and you will need the help of a few friends. The thicker the paint the longer the hang time.
