Do you think the white on burgundy is too glaring? Most of the images shown on this site will be on white or black backgrounds. This is one template I'm considering tinkering with.

It doesn't really match the photograph though, which seems to mix a classic gentry type feel with a sense of modern minimalism.
Imo, the website design should reflect that fusion of styles...a bit like a modern Aston Martin; classic and classy but also sleek and modern. Maybe something like keeping the wood background but use black instead of burgundy with silver writing instead of gold. The black should have the impression that it may be leather, but just subtly so that it doesn't look like a cheesy texture.

I'm going to agree with TDR; I like it the way it is but, the 'sleek classy modern' thing is a very good look. You'll find some idea's that use that same premise on sites like Rolex and Grey Goose. But, at the end of the day, it's your site and you can do as you wish

Looks good to me.......easy to read, pictures have a pop to them and both are good colors that complement one another. Good work!

I like the simplicity and it looks like navigating would be a breeze....would stay away from the flash IMHO...just another 2 cents
