Question Dear photographers

Hi Everyone,

I wondered if anyone knew of a good book that is filed with practical exercises that i can do to learn about photography ? i'm a beginner so ideally something that starts with aperture and shutter speed exercises then gets harder as i go along ?

Thanks so much guys x

Hi Jennifer,

I know that Bryan Peterson has some exercises throughout his books. At the end of chapters he includes a specific excercise based on that chapter.
As for other books, I'm sure others will fill me in.

Go to your local library. They shoulkd have tons of photography books. Most of them where written for the digital age of photography. But apeture and exposure will be the same animal for both film and digital photography. Most of these books will be a weath of info. And the price is right also.

Try one of the books for your specific camera model. Is it Magic Lantern?(I keep wanting to say "Green Lantern" but that's not right ) Anyways, they usually make an extended manual type book as well as a workshop type book for each camera model.

Hi Nicole,

I looked at the magic lantern book and the only one that seem to match my camera was canon EOS rebel t2i/EOS 550d. I own the 550d so does that mean the book covers both cameras ?

Thanks

I believe the T2i and the 550d are one in the same.
