As someone who does a lot of forum posting, and moderates/administers a couple forums, one of the big things that really bothers me is when a new poster doesn't spend a little time searching, reading the FAQs, and getting a sense of what the community is about before posting.

So, no, I don't think I broke any rules when I started posting here. I'd really have to go back in my history to determine if I did on other forums, but I don't think so since I'd read a forum for a while before deciding if it was interesting enough to hang around and post at.

I read the rules and do my best to follow them. You appear to be proud of not doing so, Harish? In cyberspace, in particular it is not appreciated if people do not follow the rules.

I do not believe that “laws are made to be broken,” unless those rules are unethical. In general, rules are there so that all benefit equally. Those who break the rules take more than their share. Why do you believe that you are entitled when others are not?

So, what was the point of your original post? You seemed to be rather proud of having broken the rules; otherwise, why mention it???

I just wanted to know whether anyone has broken the laws...I am not proud that I am the one who broke the laws..
and the purpose of this thread is just a kind of fun not a war of being proud or not..

I just mentioned it because i had broken it..you too can mention it..everyone can mention it..
and we can look at this thread as admitting our mistakes..not to break the laws again..!!
