Maybe this should be posted under challenges:-) I live in the Portland Oregon area and this is my first year shooting portraiture professionally. While the summer months offer some of the most amazing photographic opportunities, the fall and winter months can nearly shut down an on-location photographer for months because weather conditions are just so unpredictable.
My question/challenge for those of you with seasoned experience is: How do, or can you, continue to do portraiture work in wintery/rainy months without access to a studio. The simple answer is to find places to shoot with cover...but I'm looking for some answers with a bit more creativity or personal experience than that. Thanks in advice for your thoughts.
