Due to the coincidence of two unfortunate factors..."9 to 5" and "The Man", I am restricted almost wholly to weekend photography. Making the most out of two days can be tough, as space also needs to be made for that other thing we call "life". But obviously, photography takes precedent.

I voted on this one when it was first posted, but have been pondering my response. I voted for "weekends", but have been wondering *why* weekends. Until just recently I lived in the DC suburbs, and I found that if I wanted to explore the monuments and take photos without a zillion tourists in them, the best time to get down there would be early on a Saturday or Sunday morning. I'd often arrive on the Mall before sunrise to start looking for shots. I think that because I don't do much shooting at home (like in a lightbox or studio/still life set up or the like), I have to decide about weather and about people. Do I want morning or mid-day lights? Do I want blue skies or precipitation? Do I want people wandering in or out of my shots? Depending on where I shoot, the people question will greatly impact whether I shoot on a weekday or weekend....

Its the same for me weekday / weekend. I do a 365 project so I take at least 1-5 pictures a day on top of anything else I find to shot. My camera is with me all the time.

Currently weekdays for me. I take my camera to work most days now and try to get out for at least a little while at lunchtime to grab a few photo's wherever I can. I am trying to learn as much as I can so the more I get out and experiment the better. Weekends are pretty busy family wise at the moment but I do still try to take the camera with me wheenver we go out and about.

I didn't vote because I am 50/50. With my 365 self portrait project, I take a similar amount of photos everyday, no matter what day it is. I also work from home, so if I am taking other photos (non-self portraits), timing doesn't matter too much...I just wait for the right conditions to come along.

The weekends are most likely for me to bring out the camera, because of work. But if I'm home early enough or something going on to take photos of, then there is the exception.
