Talking I Got a CD cover!!!!

Had a session with a musician this weekend and I will have all the photography on the whole CD! Including the cover and the face of the CD! I am so excited!

It is a local musician who plays bluegrass music with a country feel...he writes all his own songs and also arranges his own music!

Given he is a friend of ours but he and his wife seem thrilled with the pics! We took around 80 different photos in different locales and poses...

Husbie is very proud and now he thinks that maybe we can save and get an upgraded camera and I may be able to take some photography classes and then start a second career/hobby on the weekends!

I know this is a shameless plug but I am very pleased with myself!!!

And so you both should be proud!! Congratulations.

But now you have the arduous task of looking at new cameras.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it...will try to get copies of the cover online ASAP!

The CD will be out by the end of the week! Can't wait to see how it looks! Also can't wait to hear it because it is all original music written by our friend!

Yeah Henry, I know it will be a "task" but it will be a bit before I can afford it and I am going to check out some second hand and on ebay...shoot, I will take one that is a couple years old just so it is in good condition...mind you that saving is really hard to do on our income but I have a specific goal...

I would like to find a camera with a lens kit nothing too elaborate but something that will take good photo wherever I need it to!

Any recommendations anyone?...............

When I saw the title I thought

"Wow this MP3 generation sure gets excited about the smallest thing, every CD I bought has a CD cover"

Congratulations Wanda can’t wait to see your work.
I have never heard of Premium KY, so I looked it up. I know where you are now.

Just a quick report...got a DSLR...Nikon D3000 that I LOVE! CD is selling great and many people have commented on the photography as being some of the best they have seen!

We are now looking for more locales for another CD that will be out probably late spring or early summer...waiting to see what the title is before jumping completely into it!

But all in all I am doing well! I may also be booking some sessions with a few friends and family members for pics using natural lighting! Wish me lots of luck!!!
