Studio Wall Color and/or flooring options

I'm in the process of setting up my studio. Is there a "best" wall color for a studio? white, black, neutral? What about flooring? I'm considering a black hardwood floor. Any pros or cons to that? Thanks!

White or grey walls are best (same for the ceiling). Floor should be neutral as well, though most of the time it'll be covered anyways. The key is to keep the light neutral.

The professional studio's I've been to have had the walls and cellings all painted black to absorb unwanted reflections. They also had huge drywall slabs mounted with pullies that were super white that could be moved around and placed against the celling or walls to provide an area to bounce from if you wanted.
