Default A pro at work...

Gregory Heisler is among the best of the best when it comes to portrait photography and in the following video he describes his photo shoot with former NYC mayor Rudy Giuliani. Thought you might find it interesting. (Hey, he did it with an 8x10 view, that alone makes this unique.)

Saw this yesterday. Very interesting.

The one thing that annoys me bit though is that he seems unsure of the details in many instances.

Thanks for the post. It is great to see how a shoot like this is done.

I understand your concern, I suspect this was done quite some time after the fact. I think Profoto was looking for a shoot where he used only their products and he had to reach back a while to find one. It's interesting just the same. The 8x10 view seems like overkill since that is about the same size as the final printed image, but the preparation and lighting show a real pro at work.

That's pretty cool. However, I would've sworn that shot was green screened. It would've been a lot easier anyway...

You mean he is getting you in the kitchen but not giving you the secret ingredient.
Somehow I suspect that was not an accident
