dPS - Moving Servers - This could get a little bumpy

Just a quick note to let members know that in the next few hours we expect to move dPS to new servers. As with every move like this there could be some downtime. Fingers crossed that it will be as seamless as possible and apologies to anyone experiencing disruption.

Update: we've done part of the move but will do the rest tomorrow (25th Aug) at around 7am Melbourne time. So far so good!

Update 2: We've made the switch. There were a few little bugs but I think we've sorted most of them. Let us know if you find anything else that looks like it broke in the move

I don't seem to be getting email notifications from updates to my subscribed threads any more - is this a symptom of the move?

I keep getting a "database error" message when I click on certain boards or threads... it seems to be sort of random when I get it, it's not always the same boards that give the error message, but I get it maybe once out of every 5 or so times I try to go to a different page. Refreshing doesn't help, but usually if I wait a few minutes it starts working again. Is this part of the server move? And am I the only one getting this message?

I was unable to log in two days ago (25th) for a whole day I think. It constantly showed me that failed login page. Seems to be all right now.

You may be aware of this already, but I'm unable to upload my avatar (posted separately about this yesterday before I realized there was a server move; if you need details, check my post). This is such a great resource -- I'm excited to be a part of it, if mostly as a lurker right now!

I've been having some trouble when I use quick reply to post, it doesn't redirect me back to the thread or anything but seems to continue in an endless loop in a blank page, not sure if this is due to the moving servers but it only started recently.

Just investigating some issues with the "Who's online" panel, also investigating the broken albums. Should have a fix soon.
