Red face Colorado Portrait Photographers

Hi, I'm Kylie and I'm just beginning a professional photography course in Colorado. I am looking for fellow Coloradans that are already established in portrait photography that I can annoy with questions :-) I am very interested in maybe doing a tag along or two to help me get a better grip on the actual process, and I'm also looking for someone to help me with general questions as I learn more and get farthur into photography as a career. Until January I am working with film only SLR's, which is fun, but I know for sure that digital photography is what I want to settle in to. I am looking to buy my very own DSLR in February or March 2011 so that I really know and understand what I'm looking for. I know this site will help with a lot of my general questions, but I am a fairly hands-on do-it-myself learner and being able to watch someone else and maybe be semi-involved with someone else that knows what they're doing would benefit me so much! Please let me know if you can help me at all!

I know both areas in a general way :-) I'm off chambers and 70. If you head out this way for a shoot and feel like showing me the ropes please let me know! Anywhere between Denver and boulder I can manage.
